About House Espresso
Our House Espresso is a blend created to offer to our customers a coffee with character, versatile, easy to drink in any way and at any time of the day thanks to its sweet notes, medium body and slightly acidic aftertaste.
Brazil and Nicaragua are the origins selected for this blend, taking in the most distinct notes from every origin. From Nicaragua we source El Diablo, in the mountains of Nicaragua. Most of the growers of El Diablo community are medium-sized farmers with more than 20 hectares of land, growing other crops for consumption besides coffee. They produce some of the best coffee from Nicaragua while being environmentally conscious having waste management systems to treat water, use the coffee pulp as fertilizer and build living barriers or windbreaks around the farms.
From the region of Mogiana, grew in a farm named Chacara Santo Antonio, our Brazilian Coffee is produced by Andrea Costa. The region where this coffee is cultivated is an incredibly preserved nature reserve where you can spot the maned wolf, Toucans and the Brazilian Jaguar. The Costa family has always produced fine coffees since Mr Decio, Andrea’s father, started his export business in the 1970s. Mr Decio was always a pioneer in investing in different varieties and processing methods. Nowadays Andrea and her daughter Bruna translate their passion for the coffee to their interest in promoting and preserving their region.

We roast in London and run cafés across the city. The business and the Employment Programme are the same thing: every bag, wholesale account and flat white funds training and paid work for people who have experienced homelessness.
